Four Months

Eating: Nursing 5 times a day like a champ. He has started spitting up more this month, but still minimally compared to my other kiddos.

Sleeping: Sleeping through the night like a pro. He was waking at 6AM and then we moved him into his own room and he is sleeping in until somewhere between 7AM-8AM. He naps three times a day still and loves to go to bed between 7:30-8PM depending on how his last nap went. When he naps at home, I often have to wake him up. I have still been putting him in his Love to Dream swaddle at nighttime. He sleeps so well that I am nervous to change things up! For naps, I often swaddle him. He is definitely outgrowing both though and I need to transition him to his sleep suit, but I really love sleep and don't want to mess anything.

He Loves: He just found his hands this month and loves them! He loves to snuggle with his Paci lovey or even a light blanket. He loves to smile at people when they talk to him.

He Doesn't Like: Some times he doesn't like to be laid down (Rarely). Loud noises.

New Skills: He found his hands and fingers and is trying really hard to roll. He has found his voice this month and really loves to talk!

Exciting Things We Did:

For the fourth of July, we went hiking for 4.5 hours! The kids were so strong and worked hard. By the end of the hike everyone was tired. After hiking we went swimming at Aunt Diane's and ended the day by watching the fireworks in Lititz. Thanks to Aunt Genna and Uncle Josh, we were in the front row! We didn't get home until midnight and we were all exhausted!

Foster slept through all of the fireworks, until the very end, but he still did very well.

We moved Foster into his own room on July 8th.

We went to Knobel's for a day, thanks to Ty's work. I was so impressed with the kids. We got there at 11AM and stayed until 7PM! They had a lot of fun, and thanks to his company, we have enough tickets to go back again sometime soon!

We ended our day with a big splash!
We went camping at World's End. It was quiet the experience. It was the hottest weekend of the summer with temps in the high 90s. On our way there the AC in our van brought. It was a hot drive! The kids did very well though and the cool water at our camp site was great! A lot of people told us we were crazy and we thought maybe we were, but it ended up being a great weekend!

It was actually chilly in the mornings!
