Eleven Months

Eating: Foster loves to eat! He is eating fruits, veggies, beans, rice, quinoa, some cheese, and oatmeal. He eats every time we are eating and gets angry if I don't offer him food while we eat. We just dropped a nursing this past week. He did fine and didn't even notice, but I sure did! We will probably stay at 4 nursings a day for awhile unless he wants to drop another one sooner.

Sleeping: Foster is sleeping from around 7:30PM-5AM. He was sleeping later, but hasn't lately. I still try to snuggle him back to sleep, but normally just give him his first nursing and then he falls back asleep with me for another hour or so. I'll take the morning snuggles while I can. I know that all too soon he will be sleeping all night without me.

He is still taking two naps a day - one around 9AM and 1:30/2PM. Baby boy still loves to be swaddled for nap time and will not nap if he is not swaddled.

He Loves: Baths, his walker, music! (He will clap every time he hears any type of music), his daddy, eating, my boobs (Ever since dropping a feeding, he is very much aware of where the milk comes from. He always has his hands in my shirt and is often trying to get to the goods.) He loves being swaddled for nap time.

He Doesn't Like: When people eat in front of him, when a sibling (mainly one) tries to carry him around, cheese

New Skills: "Mama!," Clapping, high fives, and kisses

Exciting Things We Did:
My parents were going down to Virginia for a week and invited whoever wanted to come. On Monday afternoon, I decided to make the spontaneous decision to take the kiddos down early Tuesday for one night to swim and explore. Ty was busy, so we wouldn't be missing much time with him. Very early on Tuesday, Lydia woke up and threw up a couple times. We have never had the stomach bug hit our family, so I thought for sure that it would be over with quick and was so reason to cancel our last minute trip. She woke up feeling better on Tuesday morning, so we loaded up and headed out! The trip down was fine, except Lydia started to feel ill again about 20 minutes from the condo. She ended up getting sick while I was driving. No problem. We stopped, cleaned up, and kept going. Poor thing was ill, but thankfully did not get sick again.
Something I wasn't prepared for was the fact that this condo was in the middle of nowhere with the closet grocery store 30minutes away and really not many restaurant options. So I couldn't easily get food that would be appropriate for Lydia to eat. Long story short, C got sick the next morning, so we loaded up and started our drive back home a little early. C was seeming better already and I thought we were on the mend. We decided to stop at chick fil a for lunch because 1) they have applesauce and 2) they have a drive through. I asked C how he was feeling and he said he felt fine, however 30 seconds later, he grabbed the bowl and was sick again. Luckily, we were stopped and C is old enough to know how and when to grab the bowl. Again, no problem. We would be home in 2.5 hours and C said he felt much better (luckily he didn't get sick again). By this time, Lydia really was all better.
The sad part is that after we left chick fil a, Jed started crying about not being able to see the video that was playing. He wouldn't calm down so I started looking for a rest area to pull off into. As we entered a rest area, Jed threw up all over his fries. Third one hit. Poor Jed threw up 8 times the whole way home. He didn't know when he would be sick so he kept getting sick onto himself. By the end of the trip, I had nothing else to clean him up with. It was terrible and so sad for him.
Foster never got very sick, but threw up a couple times throughout the week and didn't have his full appetite. He did throw up 2 times while at the condo - one time being in the middle of the night. The big kids got it bad, but it was short for them. Jed didn't have it bad, but it lasted longer.
It was suppose to be an exciting and spontaneous trip, but it ended up being a little bit more like a nightmare. I know that we will laugh about it someday!

We celebrated Valentines Day!
Cake and Cup tradition!

My Valentines <3
I went away for an overnight girls night. Daddy and the kids baked cookies, made a tent to sleep in, and had a lot of fun! He even took them to the dollar store to spend $1 each. Foster did a great job taking a bottle.

My favorite part of the weekend was coming home to this <3

More Photos:
My (now) 11 month old still has to be swaddled to nap.

Sissy LOVES to take photos...

...and lots of selfies.

They were playing "church" and they baptized me and were so excited that they said that I HAD to take my photo with Lydia's 11 newborn babies "that just came out of her belly one at a time."

Taken and edited by C. He loves to edit photos.

You can see his top tooth!
