Five Months

Eating: Nothing new here.
Sleeping: Four month sleep regression only hit a little bit. I hardly ever get him to wait until 8:00PM for bed. Normally around 7:30, he is more than ready. He has been waking up between 5-6AM. I can sometimes get him back to sleep or he will just lay in his crib happily until at least 6:40, when I'll get him and feed him. Once I pick him up, he wants his breakfast immediately. However, he is always happy to just lay in his crib for a while.

Naps seems to be a hit or miss, although more hits than misses. He still does not like napping when we are out and about. He often will have a terrible day with naps and then nap really well the next day. Still napping 3 times a day.

He Loves: September 2nd (so two days after he turned 5 months) he rolled over for the first time from his back to his belly. Since then, he loves doing it and rolls every time that I lay him down. He still loves baths, his swing, his siblings (most of the time), chatting with and smiling at whoever looks his way. He started playing with toys this month and enjoys having something in his hands to look at. He loves sitting in the Bumbo!

He Doesn't Like: Taking long naps in his carseat, waiting for his breakfast, being laid on. Pretty sure that he is working on getting some teeth. I just looked today and *think* I see the signs of three teeth coming through. He is always very happy, but there has been two different times when he just screams and I haven't been able to help him. I bought some Camailia to have on hand for the next time it happens.

New Skills: Rolling over, sitting in his bumbo, playing with toys, talking so much (not new, but much more!)

Fun Things We Did:
We went to the cabin, and these are the only pictures that I took.

Foster sat in a high chair for the first time.

Third wheeling with his favorite mom and dad. <3

Foster's face :-)

Foster sat in the Bumbo for the first time and loves it!

We went to the beach for two days with Grammie and Grampy! We even got to rent a boat!

A Note From Daddy: Fos, your the boss of the haus :) I can't believe you're 5 MONTHS OLD already! You bring so much joy to our family and I'm so thankful for the privilege of being you're dad. Love you!
